Costs

The nursery is open Mon-Fri 7.30-5.30 for 50 weeks a year, closing for 1.5 weeks at Christmas and bank holidays.

 Information about funded places:

Funded hours are between 8.30am-3.30pm.

This includes a hot lunch & snacks.

Anything outside of these hours is charged at £10 per hour. Between 7.30-8.30am breakfast is included & 4.00-4.30 a light tea will be provided for.

The consumable charge of £1 per day will be applied. Currently the only consumables we will be charging for are as follows:

Under twos: Wet wipes and nappy cream

Over two's: Forest activities

(with the option to opt out if you supply your child/ren’s own wet wipes & nappy cream)

Any other hours are charged at £10.00 per hour. We encourage parents to sign up to tax free childcare, giving parents an additional 20 % off the childcare fees. This can be used in conjunction with the funding through your childcare account.

 Invoices are expected to be paid in advanced monthly. Any parents/carers who are struggling to make payments or have any queries should message regarding this via our Famly app.

 Bank holidays we are closed with no charge. Any Holidays and sickness are still chargeable.

 Minimum booking:

Our enrolment policy strongly advises a minimum booking of 2 sessions per week. This is for the well being of your child and to help settle the children and help with continuity of care. This can be flexible, to one session being longer and other shorter (a few hours).

Please note: Fees will be invoiced monthly. All Fees are payable in advance. Greenwoods Nursery reserves the right to withhold a child's place for non-payment of fees. Please see our fees policy on our website for more information.

Full time parents/carers: Holidays allowance of 2 weeks free will remain until end of August 2024. From September onwards all holidays will be chargeable.

Enrolment:

In order to secure your child’s place, we ask for a £75.00 registration fee which will be returned to you when your child leaves the nursery provided there is no outstanding balance owed to us.

What’s on offer:

Funding starts the term after your child’s birthday dependant on where it falls. You must apply for the 30 hours by 31st March, 31st August & 31st December.

Funding for eligible children from 9 months old – starts in September 2024

Your 2-year-old can get free childcare if you live in England and get any of the following benefits:

  • Income Support

  • income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)

  • income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

  • Universal Credit, and your household income is £15,400 a year or less after tax, not including benefit payments

  • the guaranteed element of Pension Credit

2-year-olds can also get free childcare if they:

  • are looked after by a local authority

  • have an education, health and care (EHC) plan

  • get Disability Living Allowance

  • have left care under an adoption order, special guardianship order or a child arrangements order

If you’re not eligible for free education and childcare for parents getting benefits:

30 hours funding:

Eligible children could receive 30 hours funded childcare per week (term-time only) or 22 hours funded per week (full year). The deadlines for 30 hours codes are 31st March, 31st August, 31st December.

You will receive an eligibility code. Once confirmed we require the code to be sent to Anna/Jess along with your national insurance number & date of birth for the parent/carer who applied for the funding. As it stands you must re-confirm your code every 3 months. If you don’t, then the funding will be withdrawn. You will be required to complete a funding form in readiness for April, September & January (every year).

Tax Free Childcare:

We welcome parents using the Tax-Free Childcare Scheme.

You then transfer the money to Greenwoods by the date given on your issued invoice. This can used with your funding to help your invoice.
