Do I need to pay extra for meals and snacks?

Your child’s snacks and meals are fully covered in the nursery fee, so you won’t need to make any extra payments for this. If your baby requires milk from a bottle, we ask that you supply the bottles and milk to us. Children are offered three meals a day; breakfast, lunch and tea, and a variety of healthy snacks throughout the day.

Do your nurseries have outdoor play spaces?

Both of our nurseries have gardens and outdoor play places, featuring mud kitchens, vegetable patches where children learn to grow plants, and playground facilities. Both nurseries have beautiful views of the countryside and woodland environment. We also a forest school site.

Do you offer settling in sessions?

We offer ‘settling in sessions’ before your child starts at Greenwoods Nursery, beginning with a one hour session and then building it up to your child’s full hours.

What is the Famly app?

Famly is the app we use to communicate to parents about their child on a daily basis. Famly is used to carry out your child’s assessments and reports. Invoices are also sent to you via the Famly app.

Do you provide nappies?

We ask that you supply your child’s keyworker with a bag of nappies and wipes. We will then let you know when they start to run out. We provide Sudocrem for any nappy rash.

How do I know if my child is developing at nursery?

We hold regular parent’s evenings where we discuss how your child is getting on. We also communicate with you about your child’s learning journey on the app, Famly. We have an open door policy, which enables you to speak to us when needed.
