Costs
There is a standard hourly rate across all classes of £6.30 per hour at Coalway & £6.00 per hour at English Bicknor. Invoices will be sent monthly through our Famly app to your personal account.
The nursery is open Mon-Fri 7.30-5.30 for 50 weeks a year, closing for 1.5 weeks at Christmas and bank holidays.

9 months from September 2024
With the new introduction of the funding hours for the 2-year-olds and 9 months old we are having to add an additional charge. For the nursery to remain financially viable with the increased running costs and minimum wages increase.
There will be a consumable charge as follows:
£8.30 Coalway (full day)
£5.00 English Bicknor (full day)
£2.00 3 hours or less (half day)
This charged will be added to your invoice.
This will be reviewed & amended accordingly annually.
This charge covers additional activities, snacks items, resources, cleaning products, lunch & snack equipment, wet wipes, forest school sessions, staff training, enhanced provision costs, (this list is not exhaustive).
Any additional hours over your government funding will be charged at the hourly rate of £6.30 per hour at Coalway site & £6.00 per hour at English Bicknor.
Invoices are expected to be paid in advanced monthly. Any parents/carers who are struggling to make payments or have any queries should message regarding this via our Famly app.
Bank holidays we are closed with no charge. Any Holidays and sickness are still chargeable starting September 2024.
Minimum booking:
Our enrolment policy requires a minimum booking of 2 sessions per week. This is to help settle the children and help with continuity of care.
Fees
Please note: Fees will be invoiced monthly. All Fees are payable in advance. Greenwoods Nursery reserves the right to withhold a child's place for non-payment of fees. Please see our fees policy on our website for more information.
Full time parents/carers: Holidays allowance of 2 weeks free will remain until end of August 2024. From September onwards all holidays will be chargeable.
Enrolment:
When you enrol your child with us. You will be asked for a £50.00 refundable deposit. You will receive this back once you child leaves the nursery, school or if you relocate.
What’s on offer:
Funding starts the term after your child’s birthday dependant on where it falls.

30 hours funding:
Eligible children could receive 30 hours funded childcare per week (term-time only) or 22 hours funded per week (full year). The deadlines for 30 hours codes are 31st March, 31st August, 31st December.
We endeavour to offer this as flexibly as possible within our opening hours and within the spaces we have available.

You will receive an eligibility code. Once confirmed we require the code to be sent to Anna/Jess along with your national insurance number & date of birth for the parent/carer who applied for the funding. As it stands you must re-confirm your code every 3 months. If you don’t, then the funding will be withdrawn. You will be required to complete a funding form in readiness for April, September & January (every year).
Tax Free Childcare:
We welcome parents using the Tax-Free Childcare Scheme.
Click the link below to find out if you are eligible to save 20% on your nursery fees, which is topped up by the government into your tax-free childcare account. You then transfer the money to Greenwoods by the date given on your issued invoice. This can used with your funding to help your invoice.
